About This Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our Heavy Civil East division on exciting transformative major projects within the GTA. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and executing Safe by Design Principles across all design activities.

The Role

  • Safe by Design Principle Implementation: Ensure that design activities adhere to safe practices, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Design Delivery Management: Manage the delivery of all design activities, ensuring successful project outcomes on schedule and budget.
  • Technical Direction: Provide technical direction to project engineering teams, delivering specified technical requirements and schedules.
  • Design Management Plans: Develop and maintain design management plans, requirements traceability matrices, and interface control documents.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant industry experience, focusing on large-scale transportation, heavy civil, and transit-related infrastructure.
  • Skills: Proficient in common industry and project management software, problem-solving skills, creative thinking, organization, and time management.
