Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless order fulfillment, inventory management, and receiving duties.


Responsibilities:



  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with high attention to detail to ensure exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Count, verify, receive, and put away incoming vendor material and customer returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Receiving duties include verifying material received, noting discrepancies or damaged material, printing and verifying computer receiving documents, and entering material received into the system.
  • Picking, packing, and shipping duties include picking material for customer orders, assembling and packing material, and completing documentation for shipments.
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety by removing debris and reporting any safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborating with teammates to provide excellent customer service and support.

Requirements:



  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree is an asset.
  • A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience with a focus on logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
  • Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge and accurately process orders.
  • Ability to learn and operate applicable software systems used to process orders.
