They will also be responsible for mixing paint to the desired color and texture, measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advising consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.

The successful candidate will have experience with airless spray equipment, brush painting, patterned rollers, and roller painting. They will also be skilled in drywall taping/patching and have a strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors. Additionally, they will be physically demanding and able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

As a Painter - Interior and Exterior Specialist at Neo Kitchen Inc., you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Drywall taping/patching
  • Airless spray equipment, brush painting, patterned rollers, and roller painting

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Physically demanding

Working Conditions:

  • 30 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
