Manufacturing Operations Leader

Inteplast Group is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Leader to support and guide machine operators in efficiently running their machines.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery, as well as prior experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support to machine operators, ensuring machines are running efficiently and production goals are met.
  • Assist operators in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues with machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production flow.
  • Train and mentor machine operators on best practices, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing issues as they arise to ensure smooth operation across the production floor.
  • Monitor production quality to ensure products meet all relevant standards and specifications.
Requirements
  • A strong mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food packaging.
  • Willingness to learn and operate new machinery, with an ability to adapt to changing production needs.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced production floor with exposure to machinery noise.

Training and Development

Machine training will be required upon hire. The successful candidate must also complete ongoing training as required.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
