Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description

We require a highly skilled Event Manager Lead to lead the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, workshops, seminars, webinars, and networking events. The successful candidate will develop and manage event logistics, coordinate with vendors, oversee volunteer and staff management, and ensure all events align with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement event plans and strategies to support the mission of Quantum City
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setups, and vendor coordination
  • Coordinate with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth event execution
  • Evaluate post-event outcomes and maintain event-related databases
  • Stay updated on industry trends to ensure high standards of event management

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in event planning and management
  • Strong project management skills and proficiency in event management software
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with catering, audiovisual setups, vendor management, and contract negotiation
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently
