Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure they are properly stored.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Handle and store cleaning products, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is a rural area, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment.
