About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Chinese Christian Wing Kei Nursing Home Association. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including food, cleaning products, and equipment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service or related field.
  • Cantonese language proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.
