The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program equips students with a robust foundation in business, preparing them for success in a dynamic, evolving marketplace and highly interconnected digital economy.

We invite applications for sessional instructor positions available for the academic term, teaching courses such as International Business, Leadership and Management, Business Statistics, and Digital Business Fundamentals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly lectures, review lecture material
  • Lecture and teach students in a variety of delivery modes, creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Invigilate quizzes, tests & exams, complete grading of quizzes, tests, assignments & exams
  • Meet with or respond to students' inquiries during office hours
  • Update material and grades on the Learning Management System
  • Work closely with the Associate Dean and other faculty members to create a collegial environment
  • Attend departmental meetings as and when necessary

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Digitally and technologically oriented – comfortable with a variety of technologies and teaching delivery methods
  • Minimum of a completed Master's degree (Ph.D. or DBA is preferred) in General Business Management, Business Management and Technology, Finance/FinTech, Accounting, Economics, Marketing/Digital Marketing, Operations, Information System, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in the areas of: General Business Management, Business Management and Technology, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship
  • Related industry experience and expertise to enhance student learning through real-life scenarios and case studies
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods, technology-enhanced instruction, and experiential learning approaches is desirable
  • Previous experience teaching at postsecondary / graduate level is a significant asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
