We are seeking an exceptional sales leader to join our team at Avenue Nissan, a dealership operated by Downtown AutoGroup. As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success and growth of our sales department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and guidance to achieve team goals.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key sales metrics, such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer acquisition, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance metrics while achieving leading Customer Satisfaction (CSI) scores in a dealership setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to drive sales and manage a team effectively.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge:
    • In-depth understanding of automotive sales processes, inventory management, market trends, customer preferences, and department profitability.
    • Ability to analyze financial data and performance metrics effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In business, management, or a related field.
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with local market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity.
