Job Summary

Hydro One Networks Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented OT Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Technology (OT) Operations team, you will be responsible for developing technical OT skills, learning emerging technologies, and implementing modern technical solutions to issues within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical OT skills, including networking, data processing, security, SCADA, and power flow analysis.
  • Learn and implement DevOps principles, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Kanban.
  • Support critical software systems for Ontario's electric power system.
  • Power system modeling, SCADA and controls engineering, and development and maintenance of software tools.
Requirements
  • University undergraduate degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Software, Chemical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Previous Co-op/Internship experience in a relevant field and industry is considered an asset.
  • Good academic standing and valid, permanent driver's license (Ontario Class G).
