Job Description

Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office is seeking a highly skilled Technical Analyst to join our People Process & Technology team.

This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the continued evolution of our Workday system, drive recruitment technology initiatives, and work for the largest Employer in Canada.

As a Technical Analyst, you will be part of a team that supports the development and deployment of all facets of the Workday system, with a focus on Recruitment Automation. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the integrity and overall system operation of our Workday environment through configuration, support, testing, training, analysis, and solutioning.

You will also serve as one of our users' points of contact on the Operations Team, providing support and resolving operational issues promptly.

This role will be based in our Brampton Office (1 President's Choice Circle) and will require 4 days of on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and continuously improve the recruitment functions of HRIS and ATS platforms, with a strong focus on maintaining core systems and enhancing or deploying new features.
  • Perform day-to-day operational tasks, ensure smooth workflow, and promptly resolve any operational issues that may arise.
  • Triage and solution for end users, business partners, and administrative issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and implement new functionalities or revisions to existing functionalities.
  • Document and maintain operational procedures.
  • Support management teams in both tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of HRIS and ATS functionalities.
  • Coordinate and support periodic system releases, including assessing, documenting, and testing new features and functionality.
Requirements:
  • Between 1-3 years of hands-on experience with a range of recruiting and HR technologies.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to define inputs, consolidate/analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and professionalism in handling confidential data.
