• Environmental assessments and site investigations

• Hazardous building materials assessments and abatement planning

We are seeking a highly organized Senior/Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for various projects and clients under the guidance of a Senior Hydrogeologist.

This position involves working in the field as well as from our Burnaby or Abbotsford office.

• Preparing technical reports summarizing environmental assessment results and monitoring activities
• Collecting and handling soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water samples
• Conducting environmental monitoring and site inspections
• Recording data and observations accurately
• Coordinating subcontractors and equipment for field programs
• Liaising with clients, regulators, and contractors
• Managing environmental services projects, including preparing work plans and cost estimates

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in geological engineering or sciences
• Registration as P.Geo./P.Eng. in BC or eligibility for registration
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hydrogeology in BC
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites throughout Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley
• Familiarity with Regulations under Water Sustainability Act, Public Health Act, and Environmental Management Act
• Proficiency in standard desktop software and mobile apps

The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
