Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Director to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing organizational policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will allocate material, human, and financial resources to support our objectives.
  • Your duties will include authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • You will co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • You will establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Another key aspect of your role will be to establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • You will represent the organization or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Your tasks will also include planning and managing budgets.
  • You will plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance.
Requirements
  • You should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • It is essential to have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
