Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Operations Director to join V4U LOGISTIC INC. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, based on industry standards in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs, allocating resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring optimal structure and workflow.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and driving results.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning.
  • Policies and Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs that align with company goals.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, delegating representatives as needed.
  • Talent Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions.
Supervision and Teamwork
  • The Strategic Operations Director will oversee a team of 11-15 people, promoting teamwork and collaboration to drive business success.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word is essential for this role.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This is a fast-paced environment that requires working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • A large workload is expected, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is crucial.
Personal Suitability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Interpersonal awareness and the ability to work as part of a team are also essential qualities for this role.
Experience and Education
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required, along with a bachelor's degree.
