Cambec Diesel Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks. Your primary duties will include:

  • Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work
  • Keeping maintenance reports and documentation
  • Troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Testing repaired equipment for proper performance

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
