Job Description

Central Community Church, a large and diverse church in the heart of the Niagara Region, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its operations department. This role entails ensuring all HR aspects for Central Community Church, Central Niagara, and Community Crew are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and maintain staff contracts and files, including job descriptions, salary adjustments, vacation allotments, personnel files, and employee information.
  • Hire and onboard new staff members, including posting positions, conducting interviews, and providing training.
  • Organize exit processes for departing staff, including termination and severance letters.
  • Manage yearly staff reviews, collaborating with the executive team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department on timesheets and payroll adjustments.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in human resources management.
  • A university degree or college diploma in human resources management or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
