Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Administrative Professional to join our team at Akan Insurance.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires a high level of administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as training other workers and recording meeting minutes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Seminar and Conference Coordination

The ideal candidate will have experience arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. This includes scheduling appointments, confirming details, and ensuring smooth execution.

Team Support

The Corporate Administrative Professional will provide administrative support to the team, including training other workers, answering phone calls and messages, and maintaining inventory.

Meeting Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for recording meeting minutes, preparing reports, and following up on action items.

Office Administration

The role involves determining and establishing office procedures and routines, scheduling appointments, and ordering office supplies.

Requirements
  • Education

A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Working Conditions

The Corporate Administrative Professional will work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision, and be required to work under pressure, attend meetings, and maintain accurate records.

Compensation

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
