We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Administrative Professional to join our team at Akan Insurance.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position that requires a high level of administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as training other workers and recording meeting minutes.
Key Responsibilities- Seminar and Conference Coordination
The ideal candidate will have experience arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. This includes scheduling appointments, confirming details, and ensuring smooth execution.
Team SupportThe Corporate Administrative Professional will provide administrative support to the team, including training other workers, answering phone calls and messages, and maintaining inventory.
Meeting ManagementThe successful candidate will be responsible for recording meeting minutes, preparing reports, and following up on action items.
Office AdministrationThe role involves determining and establishing office procedures and routines, scheduling appointments, and ordering office supplies.
Requirements- Education
A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
SkillsExcellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Working ConditionsThe Corporate Administrative Professional will work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision, and be required to work under pressure, attend meetings, and maintain accurate records.
CompensationThe salary for this role is estimated to be between $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
