As a Registered Respiratory Therapist at CMH, you'll be part of a critical care team that provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Initiating and maintaining adult, pediatric, and neonatal mechanical ventilation
- Collecting arterial blood gases and inserting radial arterial lines
- Assisting with bronchoscopy procedures and transporting patients to tertiary care centers
- Participating in cardiac arrest response teams and supporting anesthesia gas machine checks
- Performing ECGs and contributing to ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- Must be a member in good standing of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
- Current membership in good standing with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists and Respiratory Therapy Society of Ontario
- Current BCLS certification required
- Experience in critical and acute care hospital environments preferred
- Pulmonary Function Testing training required
