Job Description

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist at CMH, you'll be part of a critical care team that provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Initiating and maintaining adult, pediatric, and neonatal mechanical ventilation
  • Collecting arterial blood gases and inserting radial arterial lines
  • Assisting with bronchoscopy procedures and transporting patients to tertiary care centers
  • Participating in cardiac arrest response teams and supporting anesthesia gas machine checks
  • Performing ECGs and contributing to ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements
  • Must be a member in good standing of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
  • Current membership in good standing with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists and Respiratory Therapy Society of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification required
  • Experience in critical and acute care hospital environments preferred
  • Pulmonary Function Testing training required
