The Training Program Director role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs that equip our colleagues with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and oversees the Operational Training Program for all front-line colleagues
- Provides direct supervision to the Training Team and makes recommendations to the General Manager for Training and Retention initiatives
- Improves overall retention rates by analyzing turnover data and making strategic recommendations for improvement
- Covers for other Senior Operations Supervisors as required and directs the operations of warehouse personnel to achieve prescribed objectives
- Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers and ensures that all personnel do the same
What You Will Need:
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, with varying tasks
- 1-3 years of training experience and knowledge, preferably within a Distribution Centre type setting
- Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Computer systems knowledge (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) an asset
