Overview

Vaco is a leading provider of professional staffing and consulting services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial data, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare annual operating budgets, monthly rolling cash flow forecasts, and capital calls.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate decisions and outcomes.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong foundation in accounting fundamentals and financing concepts. A CPA/CMA designation is preferred, and a minimum of 7 years of accounting experience is required. You should also have strong computer skills, including Excel, and be proficient in QuickBooks.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CPA/CMA designation or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong foundation in accounting fundamentals and financing concepts.
  • Experience with reviewing and interpreting contractual agreements.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $130,000/year, depending on experience. In addition to a base salary, you may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
