At Can Pak Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet our high standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and ensure that it is properly stocked and displayed in the store.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently and effectively.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is always well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our staff members to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift heavy objects.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
