Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Restaurant ICHI GO ICHI E. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the sous chef to plan and execute menu changes, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma in culinary arts.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
