Inside Sales Representative, Dynamic Funds

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales and developing new business opportunities within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with our Wholesaler to drive sales within the specified territory and achieve annual sales targets.
- Prospect and develop client relationships through phone, virtual meetings, webinars, emails, and client activities.
- Identify and populate information within our CRM in a timely manner, as data is a primary driver of business strategy.
- Share ideas and success stories with the Dynamic Sales Team through team meetings, sales collaboration tools, and national sales calls.
- Align with Business Controls and Compliance to maintain sales activities and communication within our guidelines.
- Keep an archive of relevant information pertaining to products, policies, procedures, and rules for dissemination to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to determine priorities and tasks to be completed.
- Work closely with internal partners to understand information pertaining to IIROC and MFDA firms/dealerships.
- Participate in special projects, departmental, and project group meetings, and share feedback when needed.
- Escalate client issues to RVP's and appropriate departments when necessary.
- Work with the Wholesaler to develop a strategic business plan each fiscal year and conduct quarterly reviews to ensure benchmarks and goals are aligned.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a field such as Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CSC or IFIC certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the Financial Services Industry.
- Superior collaboration and communication skills in English and French.
