Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Professional to join our team at BMO Financial Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the maintenance and operation of our critical infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, build, operate, monitor, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and other integrated infrastructure equipment and systems for BMO Financial Group's facilities.
  • Provide emergency and operational engineering support, and resolve complex issues for critical facilities infrastructure.
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track performance, and address any issues.
  • Build change management plans, and lead or participate in various change management activities.
Requirements
  • Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with building infrastructure system design, electrical and/or mechanical engineering, preferably within a mission critical facility and/or financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical and architectural planning and design for high availability computer facilities, field construction methods, construction cost estimation, and fire prevention.
  • Good understanding of environmental requirements of computer hardware, data communications, business process equipment, and overall building systems in continuous production environments.
