Job Description

Milestones Grill & Bar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a permanent full-time position, working approximately 35-40 hours per week.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on experience.

About the Role

This role requires a proven track record in menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, ensuring dishes are presented to a high standard
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
