We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Proposal Development Manager to join our Strategic Pursuit Centre team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy project-related work, tight deadlines, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.


The successful candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in proposal coordination, development, and management, with a strong understanding of the proposal process in both private and public sector industries. Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and consensus management skills are vital for this role.


In addition to your technical skills, you should be confident in coordinating teams and managing upwards, with a strong ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines. Experience working in a professional services firm and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are also essential.


This position offers an estimated annual salary of $70,000-$90,000, depending on location and experience. Bilingual (French and English) is an asset, but not required.


About the Role:



  • Support the entire pursuit process for strategic proposal responses from proposal kick-off, project management, to final submission.
  • Provide high-quality deliverables, and manage all aspects of the pursuit to mitigate any potential risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the proposal process.
  • Ensure we are sharing sales intelligence with the firm's national sales office, in order to work seamlessly across sales teams.
  • Work to ensure BDO's responses to solicitations help differentiate our services, are competitive, compliant, and high scoring.
  • Support the orals presentation process.
  • Assist with debriefs for each win/loss supported.
  • Ensure BDO's International Corporate Visual Identity Standards and National brand standards are adhered to.
