Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Thrive Group Canada. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing non-medical personal support services, life-skills support, and light housekeeping duties to enable clients to remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping services
  • Provide life-skills support to enable clients to maintain their independence
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and healthy living environment
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Courses relating to personal support services for persons with disabilities or seniors, health & safety, first aid, physical and emotional needs of persons is an asset
  • Experience providing support for persons with disabilities or seniors on a paid or voluntary basis either in a work setting or through personal life experiences is beneficial
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
