Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Right at Home. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Perform other financial tasks as required, such as preparing tax returns and trial balances.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
