About the Role

The Sylvia Fedoruk Canadian Centre for Nuclear Innovation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in advancing nuclear innovation and research. As the global face of our Centre, you will represent us to the public and to our founding stakeholders, ensuring the safe and sustainable operation of the Saskatchewan Cyclotron Facility, and supporting innovation in radiochemistry, imaging, therapeutics, and applications to life sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of the Centre's business and be accountable to an independent Board of Directors.
  • Ensure the safe and sustainable operation of the Saskatchewan Cyclotron Facility, including reliable delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to regional hospitals.
  • Support innovation in radiochemistry, imaging, therapeutics, and applications to life sciences.
  • Make funding decisions to support research projects based in Saskatchewan across the spectrum of nuclear innovation, in consultation with a Project Advisory Committee.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in nuclear science, chemistry, physics, engineering, or health sciences, and a track record of executive leadership. A Doctoral degree is preferred, but a Master's degree with relevant experience will also be considered. Successful candidates will demonstrate the experience and expertise to lead a unique organization that enables the people of Saskatchewan to work at the forefront of nuclear innovation.

Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority.
