Job Title: Network Security Administrator

V9 Consulting Services Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Administrator to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Security Administrator to evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. The successful candidate will provide problem-solving services to network users, implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
  • Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of device drivers, networking hardware, networking security, extranet, intranet, Internet, servers, information technology, SharePoint, programming languages, MS Office, MS Windows, and spreadsheet
