We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Compass Group North America. As a key member of our digital innovation team, you will design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge data products and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain scalable AI applications from concept to deployment.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  3. Architect and implement efficient and reusable AI systems.
  4. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
  5. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging AI technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
  8. Engage in interactions with multiple cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to many components of modern data technology.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  2. Strong experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  3. 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing AI and data products.
  4. Proficiency with the modern data science stack, including Python, NumPy, and pandas.
  5. Strong cloud engineering skills with experience taking AI ideas to production.
  6. Experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems and data warehouses.
  7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  8. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and agile development methodologies.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical users.
