About the Role

Tecsys is a fast-growing innovator offering supply chain solutions to industry leading healthcare systems, hospitals, and pharmacy businesses. We work with industry leaders to transform their supply chains through technology.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, review code, and test as an active member of an agile development team;
  • Challenging the status quo and seeking innovative approaches to problems;
  • Building strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders to develop a balanced solution between client requirements and technical imperatives;
  • Collaborating with the operations team to ensure product reliability;
  • Ensuring that functional requirements (performance and scalability) are met;
  • Contributing to retrospectives for continuous improvement of team processes and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing Full-Stack applications;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading technical teams as a Tech Lead;
  • Proven ability to positively influence and drive change within a team, inspiring colleagues along the way;
  • A collaborative team player who fearlessly challenges the status quo and is passionate about enhancing code, practices, and processes;
  • Always considers the business perspective while prioritizing technical work, effectively translating business needs into impactful decisions;
  • Proficient in utilizing the AWS cloud platform to build scalable and efficient solutions;
  • Expertise in Back-End technologies like Node.js and Java;
  • Proficient in Front-End technologies such as Vue.js and/or React.js;
  • Experience with Web technologies like HTML, JavaScript/Typescript, and CSS;
  • Strong experience in writing unit tests using Jest, Junit;
  • Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering;
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
