About the Opportunity

Branksome Hall, a leading IB World School for girls in Toronto, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Supply Teacher to join our dynamic and vibrant community. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in our Senior and Middle School in various subject areas, including Languages, English, Science, Design, Visual Arts, Music, and Drama.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students in various subject areas, including Languages, English, Science, Design, Visual Arts, Music, and Drama.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students.
  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure seamless transitions and progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution relative to your teaching subject.
  • Ontario Teacher Qualifications in Intermediate or Senior division with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
  • IB teaching experience is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of relevant technology and ability to work in a laptop and online environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Strong time management skills.
