Strategic Leader for Community Services

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Director to lead and manage our service regions in Manitoba. As a key member of the department's management team, you will provide strategic advice and support to senior leaders and contribute to the development of policies and programs.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in social services, including program delivery, oversight, evaluation, and financial management. They will be a proven leader with a commitment to creating and sustaining a diverse environment that enables staff to achieve results and develop for the future.
Duties:
As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing our RSS service regions, providing advice and support to the Executive Director and Assistant Deputy Minister, and contributing to the development of policies and programs. You will work closely with community partners and external resources, including Indigenous people, to implement the principles of reconciliation.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in social sciences and extensive experience in social services. They will have a proven track record of leadership, including management experience with responsibility for human and financial resources, and experience translating strategic priorities into clear operational and business plans. They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills and experience managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Conditions of Employment:
The successful candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada, have a valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle. They must also be able to travel within the Province of Manitoba on government business and provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector search, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
