We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Mooselink Ltd. as a key member of our transportation operations.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cargo. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and perform preventive maintenance
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- AZ class license
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Relocation costs covered by employer
