At TEEMA, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to champion a safety-first culture within our organization.

This exciting role will involve mentoring, coaching, and training employees on prioritizing safety in the workplace. Responsibilities will include updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), developing safety manuals and policies, creating safety campaigns, investigating safety incidents, leading safety meetings, and more.

We require an experienced professional with 3+ years in a similar position, holding Common Safety Orientation (CSO) and Advanced Occupational First Aid (OFA) certifications. A valid BC Class 5 driver's license is also necessary.

Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is desired, as well as knowledge of return-to-work programs and experience implementing Health & Safety systems and programs.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading changes, conducting safety audits, managing WorkSafe claims, analyzing incidents, and performing Hazards and Risk assessments.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60-75K per year, commensurate with experience.
