Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Mental Health & Substance Use department, you will play a vital role in providing primary therapeutic, case management, and mental health and substance use support services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with mental health and substance use issues
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans to address client needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Develop and implement harm reduction and trauma-informed approaches to support clients
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health and substance use issues
- Baccalaureate degree in a mental health and substance use related discipline
- Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Strong assessment and treatment skills, with ability to integrate best practice and current research evidence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
