Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Construction Activities: Oversee the supervision of workers and projects to ensure that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare production and other reports as required to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain Health and Safety Standards: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times, and that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand the requirements of each project.
  • Manage Materials and Equipment: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure that all construction activities can continue uninterrupted.
  • Lead and Motivate Teams: Lead and motivate individuals to work together as a cohesive team, establishing methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinating work activities with other work units.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry is required.
  • Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation Package

The compensation package for this position includes an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $75,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
