Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at the Indian Spice Market.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, scanning items, and managing cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, resolving any issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your communication skills, build relationships with customers, and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
    • Greet customers warmly, offer assistance, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Cash Handling:
    • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions, and making change as needed.
    • Scan items, tabulate total payments, and receive payment from customers.
  • Store Maintenance:
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
    • Weigh produce and bulk foods accurately, ensuring quality and freshness.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
Work Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Permanent position.
  • 32 hours per week.
  • English language.

Salary: $25,000 - $30,000 per year. This estimate is based on industry standards and may vary depending on location and other factors.
