Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $46,800 and $51,000, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming a wage range of $23-$25 per hour.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Labour to join our team in our Engineered Wood Products (EWP) department. As an EWP Production Specialist, you will be responsible for cutting engineered wood beams and joists using a circular saw or chainsaw, preparing packs from material cut lists provided for order shipment to commercial and residential construction sites, and auditing completed orders from material cut lists for accuracy prior to delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid forklift certification and experience
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure with accuracy
  • Experience using a chainsaw following safety measures
  • Physical requirements include: lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, pulling, pushing, bending, and torso twisting movements with weight
