About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that values teamwork, empathy, and integrity. As a Certified Caregiver, you will be responsible for administering medication, updating resident files, responding to emergencies, and working closely with our healthcare services manager and other departments.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medication safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols and codes of ethics.
  • Create and maintain accurate notes in resident files, meeting the standards set by the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ).
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans, based on observations and resident needs.
  • Promote proactive care and advocate for residents' interests.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Professional diploma in healthcare assistance or nursing.
  • PDSB training.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Membership in the OIIAQ.
