Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering compassionate patient care to join our Home Care Ostomy Clinic team. As a Nurse Specialist in Wound, Ostomy and Continence, you will be responsible for championing, guiding, and leading the delivery of a comprehensive skin, wound, and ostomy program for clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical consultation and expertise to interdisciplinary team members
- Promote the delivery of quality client care through education and direction
- Collaborate with other NSWOCs to develop and implement program policies and procedures, education programs for staff, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of a recognized Wound Management education program such as Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Education Program (WOC-EP) or International Interdisciplinary Wound Care Clinician (IIWCC)
- Valid BC Driver's License as travel may be required
