About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Communication team at Pomerleau. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Vice President's schedule, coordinate meetings, and perform related tasks.
  • Prepare agendas, draft documents, and presentations for team meetings.
  • Coordinate external translation requests between team members and translation service providers.
  • Act as a resource person and manage the internal email inbox.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to new employee integration, event management, and production of promotional items.
  • Coordinate various photo and video shoots.
  • Conduct online surveys.
  • Maintain the team's holiday calendar and update the virtual library on SharePoint.
  • Support the team's social life and events.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a support/administrative role for a team.
  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in a relevant field.
  • Excellent proficiency in both French and English.
  • Excellent organizational skills, a sense of responsibility, and political acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and exercise judgment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
