Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Legal Talent department in the Toronto office. This role plays a critical part in the day-to-day operations of employment services for legal professionals. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively executing on employment service programs, including leave of absences, office and client secondments, transfers, status changes, onboarding, and departures.

You will conduct full-cycle recruitment for legal professionals, drafting job ads, coordinating approvals, implementing recruitment strategies, driving the interview and offer process, and conducting reference checks. Additionally, you will act as a primary point of contact for legal professionals on employment services, policies, and recruitment matters.

You will also organize and coordinate various team building events for legal professionals, support the performance management processes for legal professionals, develop, maintain, and update national talent management template letters/memos as well as protocols and checklists impacting our legal professionals, and participate in and lead various projects and programs related to legal professionals.

We require a post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline plus a minimum of three years' relevant experience ideally gained in professional services or a law firm. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team, with stellar organizational skills, excellent time management skills, strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills, and client service oriented with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, Outlook, SharePoint and ViRecruit is required.
