Job Title: CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at AC Custom Wood Inc.

Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture wood products. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining, precision measurement, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture wood products
  • Measure and lay out work pieces to ensure accuracy
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts
  • Set up and adjust production machinery
  • Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining
  • Trade certification in Machinist or equivalent
  • Experience with Mastercam CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
