Logistics Operations Manager

At B2Gold, we are a low-cost international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
We were founded in 2007 and today we operate gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, with a mine under construction in northern Canada and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.
Our forecast for total consolidated gold production in 2024 is between 860,000 and 940,000 ounces.
This position as Logistics Coordinator is based in Nunavut, Canada, and will be a fly-in-fly-out 3x3 rotation.
The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Exploration and will be responsible for facilitating the safe, efficient and timely transport of Exploration personnel from major centers to and from the Goose site.
They will also arrange air charter services for movement of cargo to site, coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure timely shipping and receiving of freight, supplies and materials to and from site, facilitate acquiring goods and services through the selected purchasing program, organize allocation of personnel in the Exploration camp, and participate in daily toolbox meetings to promote compliance to B2Gold Nunavut's safety policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will require minimum two (2) years' experience working in a travel coordination or logistics role in a remote-based operation, with preference given to those with experience in remote mining environments (specifically exploration projects).
You should have experience in purchasing, shipping and receiving and familiarity with Forecast Plus or similar purchasing program, a Post-Secondary Diploma in Travel, Transportation and Supply Chain Management is preferred, prior experience working in a remote camp setting with limited access to resources is an asset, and WHIMS Certification and/or Level 1 First Aid is considered an asset.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $115,752.00 for 2184 scheduled hours.
