Job Title: Vice President of Sales

The Vice President of Sales is a critical role at XCMG Canada Ltd., responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring company profitability by developing and executing both short- and long-term strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and allocating resources efficiently to meet those goals.
  • Foster strong relationships across departments and with customers to ensure seamless support for sales initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to inform effective sales programs and strategies.
  • Partner with the marketing team to enhance the company's social media presence and develop promotional materials that support sales efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers to support sales goals and drive business growth.
  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate data, guide strategic decision-making, and adapt to market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Promote a culture of accountability by regularly reviewing financial performance metrics and driving business performance through strategic planning and organizational changes.
  • Drive revenue growth across all sales channels, including parts and service, by expanding the customer base and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Lead or engage in negotiations for strategic or high-value sales deals, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the OEM heavy equipment industry, including material handling, GCI, and cranes.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven leadership and motivational skills with a history of building and leading successful teams.
  • Expertise in strategy deployment, change management, and operational excellence.
  • Experience managing multiple facilities across different regions.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and root causes, and use them for decision-making.
  • Proven ability to develop teams through effective coaching, mentoring, and training programs.
  • Experience in critical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
