Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team at Clayton Park Tailor Shop and Dry Cleaners. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
