We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the Saskatoon campus. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Our university is a federated college of the University of Regina and its academic programs are accredited through that institution.
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities as a Custodian will include:
- Performing routine cleaning duties to maintain the First Nations University of Canada building in a safe, clean, and orderly condition;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of washrooms, including disinfecting and restocking paper products;
- Vacuuming heavy traffic carpeted areas and all carpet areas as required;
- Disposing of garbage on a daily basis and disinfecting garbage containers;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, including chalkboards, desktops, floors, walls, and garbage receptacles;
- General housekeeping of private and general office areas, laboratory, laboratory classrooms, boardrooms, stairwells, library, and main access areas;
- Cleaning and maintaining storage rooms and storing cleaning materials and equipment;
- Observing and reporting all work areas for security and safety purposes;
- Performing related duties as required, including assisting with special events.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Grade 10 or equivalent;
- Up to six months of janitorial experience.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a casual permanent position with regular working hours.
