Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Specialist to join our team at HYC Design. This role involves providing high-level administrative support to our organization, with a focus on operations and logistics.



About the Role

  • This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • The successful candidate will work 35-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of relevant experience in administration or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities, including data entry, report preparation, and inventory management.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain budgetary controls.
  • Oversee payroll administration and resolve conflict situations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare purchase orders, consult with suppliers, and plan operational logistics.
  • Keep accurate financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in administration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, MS Excel, MS Office, and Google Drive.
